I've been wanting to catch one of the plays at Actor's Studio Bangsar for the longest time. It never did happen; my uni mates weren't too keen on it, especially so after the incident at the shopping complex' car park.

And so when I heard about this one, I wasn't about to let it pass so easily. Told KY about it and he was also in ecstatic frenzy (he always tells me he acted in plays back in his schooling days... - *yawn* heeheehee...). And so we went after work last night and we managed to get TICKETS! The act itself was AWESOME. FABULOUS. Every sense of it!

The Actor -Rajeev Varma (note the singular term) was just brilliant throughout (yes, there was only one actor playing at least all 9 characters last night - blew my mind away!). I love his comedy, made me laughed so hard throughout, almost felt like falling off my seat and did I mention he danced extremely well too - so suited to the characters he played. Story was about a 25-year-old Indian guy, Sanjay, living in New Zealand with his parents and relatives. The characters were obviously still very in-tuned to their Indian roots hence, the need for an arranged marriage for the couple's only son. Each character was made richly exciting and interesting by Rajeev, even for the smaller characters. I'm astounded by the guy, still am. It was worth paying 57 bucks for it, probably even more.

I liked it - A LOT!
